Moonheart is a water-controlling Cybertronian created by Megaempress to serve among her Four Guards alongside her twin sister, Lunaclub. Moonheart was created alongside her younger twin sister, Lunaclub, by Megaempress to serve among her Four Guards. Before joining Megaempress, Moonheart worked under Soundwave as a medical assistant and developed unreturned feelings for him. She later remained one of Megaempress’s closest and most reliable followers.
Moonheart joined Lunaclub, Flowspade, and Trickdiamond in combining with Megaempress to form Megatronia, serving as the combiner’s left arm. She could manipulate water, wielded the ice-based Blizzard Blade, and transformed into an attack helicopter. Moonheart and the other members of Megatronia later appeared after Lynxmaster defeated Grand Galvatron.
Appearance:
Moonheart has metallic light blue, silver, black, and dark gray metal plating across her entire body and a tall, feminine mechanical build with broad shoulders, a narrow mechanical waist, a pronounced chest assembly, wide hips, and long powerful legs. She has glowing red visor-like optics set within a smooth silver faceplate featuring a sculpted nose, full metallic lips, and a defined metallic jaw. Her helmet is primarily light blue with black framing, angular side structures extending beside her head, and a raised central crest.
Her body is constructed from interlocking metallic panels separated by recessed seams and articulated mechanical joints. A glowing red square energy core is mounted within the right side of her upper chest inside a black mechanical housing, while a purple Decepticon insignia occupies the matching housing on the opposite side. The chest, abdomen, pelvis, hips, and back consist of layered mechanical sections with vents, circular access ports, exposed hinges, recessed fasteners, ribbed tubing, and structural gaps revealing darker internal machinery. Numerous scratches, chipped paint, worn edges, and exposed bare metal are scattered across her frame.
Large cylindrical engine housings sit behind her shoulders, with one supporting an exposed turbine fan. Her shoulders transition into thick segmented upper arms connected by large rotary joints, while the forearms widen into angular integrated mechanical assemblies ending in articulated metallic hands with individually segmented fingers. Her thighs are formed from smooth light blue structural shells with dark recessed panel lines and circular knee pivots. The lower legs expand into large black mechanical housings incorporating vents, layered sections, rectangular access panels, and reinforced structural blocks before narrowing into integrated mechanical feet with rounded toe housings.
Personality:
Moonheart is serious, composed, and cautious, often acting as the calmer counterpart to Lunaclub. She approaches problems tactically and is suspicious of unreliable allies, particularly questioning Trickdiamond’s loyalty because of her fixation on profit.
Lunaclub is Moonheart’s younger twin and frequent combat partner, though Moonheart is sometimes embarrassed by her immature behavior. Megaempress created both sisters and commands Moonheart as one of her Four Guards. Moonheart previously served as Soundwave’s medical assistant and developed unreturned romantic feelings for him, while she regards Trickdiamond with distrust.
Moonheart controls water and can channel it through her Blizzard Blade, allowing the weapon to freeze enemies. She can combine with Megaempress and the other Four Guards to form Megatronia, serving as the combiner’s left arm.
Her primary equipment is the Blizzard Blade, a sword that can also convert into a firearm. Moonheart transforms into a Cybertronian attack helicopter.
The spark is the core of Transformer life, an electrically charged mass of positrons formed from the supernatural substance known as Rarified Energon. Sparks come in a wide range of colors—while most are some shade of blue, green, yellow, orange, white, and red sparks have all been observed. While their appearances may vary, every spark functions as a combined heart and soul for an individual Cybertronian: like a heart, a Spark "pulses" at a certain frequency to animate a mechanical bodyframe; like a soul, a spark is generally accepted to contain some part of a Transformer's immaterial being, which persists after death by transcending into the afterlife. Indeed, most Cybertronian religions hold that each spark contains an infinitesimally small portion of Primus's divine essence. To protect their sparks, which usually can't survive outside of a compatible body for very long, most Cybertronians possess a specialized "spark chamber" somewhere in their body.
Most forms of Cybertronian reproduction involves the creation of a new spark—in many realities, supernatural artifacts such as the Vector Sigma supercomputer or the AllSpark can generate sparks at will, which can be implanted into a suitable receptacle to create a new Transformer. These newborn sparks contain the hard-coded design schematics that act as a Transformer's "genetic code", which dictates a Transformer's appearance and sometimes even their alternate modes. Sparks can be safely stored in stasis pods, "frozen" within photonic crystals, or even transplanted from one body to another with no ill effects, but they are susceptible to weapons fire and exotic forms of radiation. When a Transformer's body can no longer support its spark, it is "extinguished" and the Transformer is considered dead. As long as the spark is intact, however, it is possible to repair a Transformer, re-implant its spark, and effectively bring them back from the dead.
