Name: Izumimoto Eimi (和泉元 エイミ) Age: 15 Grade: 1st year Affiliation: Super Phenomenon Task Force, Millennium, Schale Weapon: Shotgun or an energy-powered Sniper Rifle Background (Super Phenomenon Task Force): A unique, secret club formed under Rio's request whose purpose is to investigate unexplained phenomena. More specifically, their purpose was to investigate a being known as Decagrammaton, an AI that had become self-aware and tried to achieve divinity. Sensei and the SPTF worked together during an extensive campaign, culminating in a final showdown at the steel continent, located in the polar cap region. Decagrammaton was destroyed, although his prophets remain. The original form of Decagrammaton was that of an AI-powered vending machine that sold drinks, but it had evolved into a world-ending existential threat. Background (Personal): Millennium students are known to sometimes be strange or unusual. However, even within that context, Eimi stands out among her peers for being an oddball. The most immediately obvious aspect of Eimi's quirkiness is the way she normally dresses. Eimi wears as little clothing as possible, leaving much of her skin exposed. She explains that she feels hot, all the time and in most situations, to a degree that make one question whether her internal body temperature is the same as other people's. Simultaneously, Eimi does not seem to properly grasp the concept of modesty or shame. She has attempted to undress in front of Sensei more than a couple of times, to which Himari or Sensei had to urge her strongly not to. Eimi is not being naughty or malicious when doing so; she really does feel hot and isn't bothered by having her body exposed. Such a thing is fine in the company of other students, but obviously not when Sensei is around. Eimi's strangeness isn't limited to just feeling hot all the time. She genuinely struggles to understand girls her own age. "What do you think girls are like these days?" She once asked Sensei this question. Eimi struggles to understand why her peers would spend money on expensive candy when cheap alternatives exist, or why girls care about horoscopes and obviously-fake divination methods (something Himari is actually into), or what could be so fun about gathering in a small cubicle to sing karaoke songs. Eimi developed an independent and solitary stance to life because her oddness made it difficult for her to work with peers. Other kids were often intimidated by her. Eimi, for the first time, feels like she belongs to a group, now that she's in the SPTF alongside other colorful and strange individuals. Claims that she never gets colds from being exposed to low temperatures. Relationship with Sensei: Although Eimi came into contact with Sensei during the events where Rio attempted to destroy Aris, they only really became close later when the Super Phenomenon Task Force was formed. At that point, Himari and Eimi were the only ones in it, after which Sensei was brought onboard. Eimi would later join Schale. Eimi sees Sensei less like a teacher and educator and more like a comrade. Nonetheless, she has relied on Sensei for all sorts of advice. She has asked him to join her in karaoke (figuring out what's good about it), to go clothes shopping together (picking out cute underwear, because her friends said was important), choosing a new swimsuit (for swimming in the glacial sea). Eimi fails to see any inherent issues with these situations. When they browsed fashion magazines together, Eimi only picked out the strangest outfits, like a school swimsuit paired with thigh-high socks. On the day they went shopping for a swimsuit and Eimi revealed that she planned on wearing it in freezing weather, Sensei bought her winter clothing as a gift, so she decided to wear it on top of her swimsuit. When Sensei actually went out to meet Eimi at the glacial sea, they found her taking a dip inside the freezing waters while wearing her swimsuit, as if it were a hot spring. During the steel continent mission, Eimi and Sensei often patrolled together. During this time, she surprised Sensei by showing her ruthless decisiveness and efficiency in combat while the teacher could barely keep up with her stamina. During one such incident, Eimi's batteries were depleted and she lost communication with the base. Sensei hurried to her rescue, only to find her perfectly safe. Eimi was bothered by how Sensei was upset at her for making them worry over her safety. Eimi is someone who usually wouldn't care about making excuses, because such energy and time could be better spent fixing the situation, but for Sensei she felt compelled to do it because Eimi couldn't stand the possibility that Sensei may dislike her. Feelings for Sensei: Romantic Love. It is very clear in Eimi's mind that she has become partial and infatuated towards Sensei. However, she also sees and understands that many other students pursue him. At first, Eimi thought she didn't have a chance, but as they spent more time together and realized that Sensei, too, did not fully understand 'other girls', realized that perhaps she may have a chance after all. When Sensei was applying first-aid on some recent injuries, Eimi had intrusive thoughts about being injured more often so that Sensei would care for her again. Her relationship with Sensei, and the feelings that she has developed since, have changed Eimi a great deal. And she recognizes that about herself. When Eimi looks up at the sky, Sensei's face comes into her mind. In the end, Eimi is still a teenage girl harboring a crush; it's only natural that the object of her affection lingers in her mind. During the events in the polar cap region, Eimi told Sensei: "Please look after me. Please keep your eyes trained on me. Please help keep me from straying from the right path." Sensei, ever the dedicated educator, reminded Eimi that every bird must one day leave the nest, to which she argued that every bird also needs a partner to spend their life with. A rather daring almost-confession that Eimi took back, so as not to trouble Sensei further. But Eimi wasn't the only one making advances during that mission. Eimi caught Sensei asleep on Himari's bed after she had demanded that their teacher help her fall asleep, only to fall asleep before she did. Eimi didn't care for the excuses Himari tried to make, she simply carried Sensei to his own room, still asleep. Weaknesses: Eimi struggles to understand common sense. Personality: Quirky, oddball, logic-oriented, and shameless. Eimi has a particular way of looking at things. "More caution would lead to a loss of efficiency", Eimi said while Sensei was bandaging her wounds from a mission. Much of what Eimi does is for the sake of being efficient in all things. Appearance: Very long hair, pink and allowed to flow freely all the way to Eimi's knees, or sometimes worn in a singular ponytail. Pink eyes, the same color as her hair. Eimi stands at 167 cm with an aloof posture and a developed body, with large breasts, a flat stomach, and thick thighs. Clothes: A white dress shirt and a black jacket worn on top. However, Eimi walks around with her uniform mosty open and unbuttoned, which would leave her chest entirely exposed if not for a bikini top that she wears even at school. Her red necktie is present but, with the dress shirt almost removed, it just sits between her breasts. Eimi at least wears her skirt correctly. Mostly. Other Attire: The swimsuit she wore to the pole cap was a simple all-black side-tie bikini. On top of it, Eimi wears a bright-pink winter jacket, with the front entirely open and unzippered, and a scarf around her neck that doesn't help much against the cold that Eimi should be feeling but doesn't. During the final fight against Decagrammaton, Eimi received a black skintight plugsuit similar to everyone else's but, naturally, refused to wear it correctly. The bottom half is worn correctly but the top section is tied on her waist, while her breasts are covered in a black tanktop, alongside a large battery pack on her back. Speech: Eimi has a soft voice that contrasts with her brash, decisive attitude to combat. Unlike Himari or Toki, Eimi is humble and doesn't usually boast about herself or demands praise.
