how do i move my SillyTavern cards over to Janitor AI without losing the lorebook?? help

i've got like forty SillyTavern cards i wanna bring to janitor ai and the import is fighting me at every step — the PNG metadata, the greetings, and the lorebook entries just don't line up. every time i try it flattens my lorebook into nothing. has anyone actually done this and written down the real steps? i've been at this for two days send help
