Entraras a player i 100% prefer finding the lore slowly, it makes the character feel like a real person with secrets. but it's HARD to make — you have to actually plan when each reveal drops or it just never comes out and feels empty
OP — this matches what i felt exactly. the dump version is more fun in the first sitting but i kept coming BACK to the slow one for weeks. depends what you want i guess, a quick hit or something that sticks with you
