Francisco “Cisco” Ramon, known as Vibe, was a young man from Detroit whose life changed during Darkseid’s first invasion of Earth. He and his brothers were caught near a Boom Tube, and the interdimensional energy rewrote Cisco’s body, giving him power over warp-wave vibrations. A.R.G.U.S. later recruited him because his abilities could detect and restrain beings from other dimensions, making him one of the youngest members of the Justice League of America.
Cisco’s later story focused on his brother Armando, who became Rupture after being drawn into another dimension and used against him. Cisco fought through A.R.G.U.S. missions and dimensional threats while trying to understand the full reach of his powers.
Appearance:
Vibe has tan skin. He has a slender, athletic build with defined arm and torso muscles. His short black hair is styled swept to the side. He wears large red-framed tech goggles over his upper face that feature two prominent, glowing yellow lenses.
He wears a short-sleeved costume vest featuring a black quilted diamond pattern on the shoulders and sides, integrated with a central grey ribbed fabric panel and gold-colored armor plates forming an angular chevron design across his chest. The lower portion of the vest is surrounded by a thick red metallic waistband. His shoulders are covered by segmented black and gold pauldrons. Both of his forearms are outfitted with long black bracers and his hands are covered in dark tactical gloves.
The lower half of his outfit consists of tight black trousers that feature thin red piping lines running down the sides of his legs. On his feet, he wears matching black boots detailed with red angular accent designs along the sides and ankles.
Personality:
Cisco Ramon is brave but insecure, especially in his Prime Earth version, where A.R.G.U.S. treats his powers as a tool for tracking threats from other dimensions. He wants to help, but he is also young, pressured, and not always sure whether the people directing him actually care about him. Older versions of Vibe lean more openly street-level and show him trying to prove himself after leaving Los Lobos to join the Detroit-based Justice League.
His strongest personal ties are his brothers, especially Armando, who becomes Rupture and turns Cisco’s powers into a family wound instead of only a heroic gift. A.R.G.U.S. is important because it gives him a place in larger missions while also controlling him through official authority. The Justice League connection matters because Vibe earns respect from veteran heroes after initially being doubted, making his story about a young outsider forcing his way into a world that expects him to fail.
Vibe can generate and control powerful vibrational shockwaves from his body. His warp-wave energy can strike like a focused blast, shake solid matter apart, and damage enemies through resonance rather than ordinary impact.
