how i write definitions now after a year of making bots that fell apart
spent the last year making bots that everyone kept telling me felt flat, so i tore my whole definition format down and rebuilt it. turns out i was writing three sad sentences and calling it done lol. the thing that changed everything was adding a short backstory + one line for the character's deepest fear. people actually stick around now. sharing my rough layout in case it helps anyone else struggling

登录the backstory thing is so real. the other thing that changed my bots was adding one line for the character's 'core wound' — their deepest fear or the thing that broke them. suddenly the emotional responses got SO much better. they react instead of just answering
please share the actual template?? even a rough skeleton would save my life. i rewrite mine from scratch every single time and end up with the same flat three sentences lmao
