LS Devout Monster: Carnifex comes from Azamotos, which is basically the underworld. Carnifex is a Shadow Person, or one of the Shadow People. They are a subspecies of the undead who are capable of intelligence and bitter feelings. They are born from the very hatred and anguish of mortals and feeds off of their emotions and cause terror. Only a few beings can hurt the Shadow People, some being creatures of the light. They were mostly used to scare children to bed.
