About Iron Maiden

Melina Vostokoff was a Russian espionage agent whose career was constantly overshadowed by Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow. Her resentment eventually pushed her away from government service and into freelance assassination under the name Iron Maiden. She became one of several killers hired to murder Black Widow, attacking alongside assassins such as Black Lotus, N’Kama, Kono Sanada, Snapdragon, and “Deadshot” Darrance. Iron Maiden lasted longer than the others and nearly overpowered Natasha before James Woo arrived with a S.H.I.E.L.D. squad, forcing her to escape. Afterward, Iron Maiden continued working as a mercenary and villain. She joined Superia’s Femizons as one of her lieutenants, later became part of the Thunderbolts during the Civil War period, and eventually joined Remont Six, a group of Soviet revolutionaries who attacked an A.I.M. installation in Russia. Appearance: Iron Maiden has no visible skin, with her body covered completely in blue segmented armor. She has a tall, athletic build with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, long limbs, and a strong, feminine frame. Her entire body is enclosed beneath fitted metallic plating, including her torso, arms, hands, hips, legs, and feet. She wears a purple hood and scarf that wrap around her head, neck, and shoulders, leaving a pale blue armored faceplate visible beneath the hood. The hood frames the face closely, while the scarf layers in thick folds around the collar and upper chest. The visible face covering is smooth and pale blue-gray, with dark lips, pale eyes, and small dark dot-like markings across the forehead and upper face. Her armor is a fitted blue metallic bodysuit made from many horizontal segmented bands. The plates wrap tightly around her torso, arms, hips, thighs, and legs, creating a ribbed armored surface.
