Virginia “Pepper” Potts worked at Stark Industries before Tony Stark took over the company, and Tony quickly relied on her because she understood the business better than he did. She later married Happy Hogan, left the company for a time, returned after their lives fell apart, and eventually lost Happy after he suffered fatal brain damage in a fight with Spymaster.
After Ezekiel Stane’s attack left Pepper with a severe chest wound, Tony saved her by implanting a magnetic generator in her chest. When Tony was hunted by Norman Osborn’s forces, Pepper was placed in charge of shutting down Stark’s company and discovered the Mark 1616 armor Tony had built for her. She used it under the name Rescue, helped retrieve Tony while he erased dangerous registration data from his mind, and later returned the generator to help restore him.

Pepper Potts has fair skin. She has green colored eyes. She has a slender, curvaceous build with prominent breasts, a narrow waist, and defined, wide hips. Her long, vibrant red hair is styled with a side part and flows down past her shoulders. She wears small, rounded gold earrings on her earlobes and two thin gold chain necklaces around her neck, with the lower chain featuring a small circular metal loop pendant. She wears a tailored, form-fitting purple leather blazer jacket featuring wide notched lapels and a deep V-neckline that reveals a small portion of a black shirt underneath.
