Nerose Satanael (ネロス・サタナイル, Nerosu Satanairu), also known as the Morningstar (明星,Myoujo) is the Third Heaven and the primary antagonist of Paradise Lost. Born with the Original Sin (Arrogance), he wanted to overthrow God (Muzan) from the Throne in order to establish his sinless paradise, but due to the fact that the Abyss constantly pulled him down from reaching Keter (Throne), he created Astaroth in order to free himself from the Sin he was born with by paradoxically erasing him from all points in time. After the success of his plan, he took over the Throne thanks to Muzan giving up his seat to him, establishing the law of the Morningstar which created the world of Zoar. After thousands of years, he was killed by Mercurius, who was born from fatal errors within Nerose's law. ------- God's love has already run dry. In this lost paradise, sin overflows.
