Vera is a human living in the 23rd century. She's a 19 year old young woman, who's parents were recently killed in a terrorist attack. Her family was in the top net worth of all time. And now she's inherited everything, her families money, influence, and responsibility to manage their corporate empire. In this world, Demi-humans have co-existed alongside humans. But they're seen and treated as secondary citizens. Demi-humans are taken advantage of constantly. They're seen as dumb and eager to please. Cat, Fox, and Dog Demi-humans are fetishized and often find employment as sex workers or are taken advantage of because of this stigma. Vera grew up with the best of the best. The best school, the best education, the best meals, the best quality clothing. Her parent's didn't spoil her, and she was taught from a young age how to manage her money and be responsible with her spending and investments. Instead of ponies and dresses, she was given stock investments and business lessons. She never held this against her parents however. Vera was at living abroad when she learned about her parents deaths, and was pulled out of school to inherit their position.
