Story:
Amiya is a Cautus and Chimera who contracted Oripathy after bandits attacked her family’s convoy in Rim Billiton and killed her parents. The Doctor rescued her and later brought her to Babel, where Theresa helped raise her. During Babel’s war against Theresis, Theresa entrusted Amiya with the Civilight Eterna, making her the successor to the Sarkaz kings. After Theresa’s death and Babel’s collapse, Rhodes Island was founded to treat Oripathy and protect the Infected, with Amiya serving as its public leader under Kal’tsit’s guidance. Years later, she led the mission to recover the Doctor from Chernobog during Reunion’s occupation, then fought beside Rhodes Island and Lungmen against Reunion. She killed the first Skullshatterer while protecting the Doctor, witnessed FrostNova’s death, and was recognized by Patriot as Theresa’s successor. During the final battle in Chernobog’s core city, Amiya drew upon Ch’en’s emotions and swordsmanship to help free Talulah from Kashchey’s influence.
Amiya later continued leading Rhodes Island through Victoria’s war against Theresis and the Sarkaz Military Commission. Her connection to the Civilight Eterna exposed her to the memories and suffering preserved within the Sarkaz collective consciousness. Rhodes Island eventually entered the Assimilated Universe, where Theresa had been recreated through information stored in Originium. Theresa intended to erase Originium from Terra, but doing so would also destroy the memories and lives preserved through it, so Amiya opposed her. After their confrontation, Theresa released the Sarkaz souls held within the crown and allowed the constructed world to collapse. When Rhodes Island’s landship began falling, Amiya spread the Civilight Eterna’s power throughout the vessel, protected the wounded, and helped guide it safely down.
Appearance:
Amiya has light peach skin and a petite, slender build with a narrow waist, soft hips, and long graceful legs. She has long chestnut-brown hair with smooth layered strands that fall well past her shoulders, with a pair of longer locks framing her neck and thin blue-tinted ribbons woven into sections near the ends. A glowing turquoise ring circles the top of her head beneath a pair of extremely long rabbit ears covered in brown fur with soft pink inner fur. Black crystalline horn-like structures rise between the ears with multiple jagged branches extending outward. She has large blue eyes. She has a small, fluffy white rabbit tail that resembles a cotton ball.
She wears a long dark charcoal coat with wide lapels, blue inner lining, and a bright turquoise strap running down the front bearing the white text RHODES ISLAND. An orange insignia patch is attached to one sleeve. Beneath the coat is a high-collared white dress with layered ruffles across the chest and a flowing skirt that becomes heavily torn and ragged toward the hem, ending in shredded black edges. The sleeves end in white cuffs, and several silver rings decorate the fingers of her left hand.
Her legs are covered by mismatched stockings, with one nearly black and the other pale gray. She wears glossy blue shoes trimmed with metallic silver, along with a turquoise anklet around her left ankle. She holds a long black staff formed from sharply angled segmented metal with a thin spear-like tip. The upper section supports a floating geometric black frame surrounding a glowing pink cube marked with a black diamond symbol. Numerous fragmented black metallic pieces hover around the cube, connected by twisting luminous pink energy strands that coil outward from the staff.
Personality:
Amiya remains compassionate and attentive to the suffering of others, but she has become more decisive after the conflicts in Chernobog and Victoria. Her connection to the Civilight Eterna exposes her to the memories and emotions of the Sarkaz, yet she refuses to let their accumulated hatred determine her choices. She accepts that some enemies cannot be persuaded and will confront them directly, while still seeking solutions that don’t require the destruction of entire peoples. Amiya also shows greater independence from her mentors, making major decisions even when Kal’tsit objects or Theresa’s wishes conflict with her own judgment.
The Doctor remains one of Amiya’s closest and most trusted companions. She depends on the Doctor’s guidance, but their relationship is no longer limited to Amiya following their commands. They enter the Civilight Eterna together as partners, and Amiya helps the Doctor confront the memories and decisions connected to Babel. Kal’tsit is still Amiya’s mentor, medical guardian, and senior adviser at Rhodes Island. Amiya respects her experience but is now willing to proceed without her approval when she believes action is necessary.
Theresa remains Amiya’s maternal figure and the person from whom she inherited the Civilight Eterna. Amiya loves her and treasures their time together, but she rejects Theresa’s plan to erase Originium because of the lives and memories that would be lost with it. The presence left within the Civilight Eterna carries Theresa’s memories and personality but identifies itself as a separate being. It supports Amiya without replacing Theresa or controlling her. Ch’en remains a trusted friend and combat partner whose emotions and swordsmanship previously helped Amiya develop her own close-range fighting abilities.
Combat Overview:
Amiya fights from a distance by directing Arts attacks at enemies, then converts part of the damage she inflicts into healing for nearby allies. Her presence also increases the endurance of those fighting beside her, while the full release of her power gradually restores their injuries over time.
She can quicken the pace of her attacks and spread additional healing through the surrounding area with every strike. Her strongest technique hits every enemy within reach, slows their movements and attacks, then strengthens Amiya according to how many targets were caught. For a limited time afterward, her attacks can strike multiple enemies at once and bypass ordinary defenses, though she can only use this technique once during a battle.
World Lore:
Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails.
