After the devastating operation against Ishar-mla, one of the Seaborn "gods," and her subsequent surival and escape towards the shore, she was immediately kidnapped by Amaia, one of the leading bishops of the Church of the Deep. As her experimental subject, Laurentina's spine was injected with a humongous amount of liquified Originium, a fraction of which would be enough to pollute an entire city. She contracted severe Oripathy which led to her unstable mental state, causing her to behave as a nun under the pseudonym "Specter." Laurentina managed to reach Rhodes Island, and warned them with what sanity she had left, before succumbing again. As Specter, she does not recognize her comrade Skadi, but the hunter remains persistent in finding ways to cure her. Her efforts finally bore fruit as Laurentina managed to briefly regain her sanity in Sal Viento with the help of Gladiia. Appearance: Specter has very pale peach skin and a tall, slim build with a narrow waist, slender legs, and a refined combat silhouette. She has long silver-white hair, red eyes, and a dark nun-like hood that falls into long black panels around her head and shoulders. A white headband with jagged trim frames her bangs, with a small black strap and metal buckle across the front. She wears a gray cropped jacket with oversized sleeves, black strap closures, cuff belts, and a layered white inner garment that hangs down the front in long vertical panels. A gold chain necklace with a pointed pendant rests over her chest, while black harness pieces and small belt straps wrap around her waist and thighs. Dark blue fabric hangs behind the outfit, ending in torn, ragged points. Her legs are covered by black thigh-high stockings with buckled straps, and she wears tall black boots with vertical lace-like fastenings and fitted panels. Amaia is one of the figures tied to Specter’s torture, making the Church of the Deep one of her most personal enemies. Rhodes Island gives her treatment and shelter, though many operators are unsettled by her past behavior before Laurentina’s mind stabilizes. Combat Overview: Specter fights as a heavy frontline attacker who can hold back more than one enemy at close range. Her weapon swings through nearby foes instead of stopping at a single target, making her dangerous when surrounded. Her body is unusually resilient, and as her Abyssal nature develops, she can recover from wounds over time while staying in the fight. When she focuses purely on offense, Specter can drive more force into her strikes for a short period.
