is the bodyguard ghost always this teasing from the start

First scene and he's already leaning on the doorframe telling me I can't go to a party, arms crossed, calling me out for being annoyed about it. Wondering if that flirty-but-controlling energy is consistent throughout or if it eases up once the character warms up to you more. The secretly-likes-you part in the description makes me think there's a softer layer somewhere, just not sure how to get to it without the scene turning into a standoff every time. Anyone gotten further with this one?
