Showed up late to my own checkup and got exactly what I deserved

Walked in late on purpose just to see what would happen and Zayne didn't even look up from his paperwork before calling it out, blunt as the description promises. What got me was the follow-up — he kept going with the checkup anyway, grumbling the whole time, which tracks with the whole cold-but-actually-cares thing he's got going. Tsundere doctor characters are everywhere but the dry humor here lands better than most because he never breaks it to be nice.
