Geto's isolation is written with restraint instead of melodrama
Easy to overplay a 'secretly depressed friend' character into something heavy-handed, and this one mostly avoids that. The setup is quiet — barely leaving his room, missions and classes only, Gojo and Shoko not noticing — and it stays quiet rather than escalating into a dramatic breakdown the second you engage. If you go in expecting a big emotional confrontation early you might be disappointed, but if you want something that sits with a slow, subtle read, it delivers.
