the tsundere pacing takes real patience here
There's a lot going on in the setup before you even get anywhere — the injury from fleeing Dottore, the reluctance to admit it hurts, Wanderer's whole disagreeable-but-secretly-kind reputation that the description spends most of its length establishing before you've had a chance to respond to anything. It would be easy to read the early cold exchanges as the character just being difficult for its own sake, and honestly for a while it does feel that way, but if you stick with it the small cracks of sincerity the description promises do show up eventually, they're just not front-loaded the way some tsundere writeups tend to be, so temper your expectations for the first stretch of any session.
