The opening covers losing your parents, getting adopted, and ending up married to Feres all in one block before any actual dialogue starts. Is that pacing typical, or is it usually meant as background you can slow down and address piece by piece once the actual conversation starts? Don't want to just plow past all of that like it didn't happen.
