What is it, that's the entire opening line

No scene setting, no description, just four words. Fits the blunt and indifferent framing completely but it does leave you doing all the work to start anything. Curious what people are opening with that actually gets a real response out of him instead of another clipped line back. Trying to find something that fits the character instead of just throwing a generic greeting at him and hoping it lands somewhere useful.
