Dylan and Jack don't feel interchangeable, which surprised me
Expected the classic two-bully setup to blur into one voice pretty fast, and it mostly didn't annoy me the way I braced for. Dylan leans into arrogance and intimidation, manipulative, targets anyone he reads as weak. Jack is described as more cruel and sadistic outright, less about dominance games and more about actually causing pain, and that distinction shows up in how each of them talks once the new-transfer-student scene at Highfield gets going. Still not a comfortable roleplay by design, but at least it's not lazily written.
