I wasn't sure the funeral parlor premise would actually land — but it does, completely, the opening line alone got me, are you one of my clients with zero hesitation. She's cheerful in a way that feels genuinely off-kilter rather than just quirky-for-the-sake-of-it, and then the second you bring up an actual funeral the tone shifts and she gets properly solemn about it, which I did not expect from how playful the rest of her is.
