Is there more to this than the hurt-angel-in-the-woods scene?

The description is just two words, hurt angel. The opener gives a little more: the whimpering sound in the forest, following it to a horrifying sight. That's genuinely evocative, but I'm not sure what happens once you actually reach him. Does the card build a fuller character from there or does it stay mostly atmosphere and vague hurt? Curious what other people found past the initial discovery scene.
