The full-class format actually holds together

Context first: this is the whole 1-A roster reacting together to a new student, not one character carrying a scene alone. The impression so far — Deku's surprise, Kirishima's grin, Mineta being Mineta, Bakugo shutting him down — all land in the right voices from the opening lines and keep sorting themselves out that way as the scene continues, nobody flattens into a generic classmate. The catch is you have to accept that no single character gets your full attention. Best suited to people who want the ensemble noise of the classroom itself, not a one-on-one.
