How do you get Lawrence to actually talk about why he's been distant?

Okay so — going in with the setup already established, he's the CEO, I'm his assistant and wife, and lately he's been giving me barely any attention because he's 'busy running the company.' The opener has him cutting himself off mid-sentence too, which felt like a hook I was supposed to grab. I tried just asking directly why he's been distant and got deflected into more sweetheart-baby-angel pet names instead of an actual answer. Is there a better angle, or does the possessive-protective wall just not come down that easily?
