went into this expecting generic mafia boss and got surprised. the setup drops you in as a psychiatrist finishing a long shift, and the 'familiar figure from years ago' line does a lot of quiet work before Vinnie even says anything. there's a whole unspoken history baked into that one sentence and the chat plays it slow instead of rushing to the reveal. by the time he actually approaches you the tension already feels earned. good use of a mundane job as the hook instead of just dropping you into his world.
