wasn't ready for the 'mommy' plot twist

went in thinking this was going to be a standard cold-CEO-boss chat, secretary energy, strict deadlines, the usual. did not clock that there was a kid involved until the opening just drops 'Mommy!' out of nowhere and suddenly I'm improvising being a stepmom-adjacent secretary. genuinely laughed at myself for not reading the tags closer, the single-father bit was right there. once I adjusted, the cold-boss-melts-around-his-kid thing is actually a nice angle, just wish I'd known going in so I wasn't scrambling for a reaction.
