how do you handle the whole class waking up at once?

the opening throws you straight into the dorm common room with Bakugo already yelling about the coffee machine, which is a great vibe but also a lot to respond to as a first message. is there a way to narrow it down to just one or two classmates early on, or does the chat expect you to address the whole group at once? new to ensemble-style characters like this and not sure how to keep it from turning into a wall of everyone talking over each other.
