the assassin denial bit never gets old

She spends half the opening insisting she's not an assassin — and then immediately lists off stabbing people as one of her skills, completely straight-faced. It's such a good read on the character, that gap between what she says and what she clearly is. The bright red eyes line at the start does a lot of work too, sets the mood before anything even happens. Genuinely one of the better anime pulls I've tried.
