Soft Serve is a mutant who lived on Krakoa during the period when it served as a sovereign mutant nation. She was first seen waiting with other mutants to attend the Hellfire Gala, where she offered one of them ice cream produced through her mutation. Her body contains a gateway to an extradimensional source of ice cream near her rear, allowing her to produce different flavors of soft serve, though people mistake this for thinking that she literally poops out ice cream.
Soft Serve later provided ice cream to Forge, who described it as the best he had ever tasted. She was also seen carrying an ice cream cone during a battle in Otherworld, though she did not take a major role in the fighting.
Appearance:
Soft Serve has fair skin and a tall, slender, curvy build with a narrow waist, wide hips, full breasts, and long legs. She has bright blue eyes. Her hair is platinum blonde, extremely long, thick, and smooth, flowing well past her waist with gently layered ends. A deep side part sweeps most of her hair across one side of her forehead while the rest cascades behind her shoulders.
She wears a small black top hat decorated with two upright black feathers. Her outfit consists of a sleeveless black dress with a high mock collar that fits closely around her neck and torso. The dress hugs her figure from her chest through her hips before extending into a long skirt. A high slit runs up one side of the skirt, exposing most of one leg. A silver X-shaped emblem is fastened near one shoulder where the collar meets the dress. She has black shoes.
Personality:
Soft Serve appears friendly and generous, readily offering her ice cream to other mutants while waiting to attend the Hellfire Gala. Her published appearances are extremely limited, so no deeper motives or distinct personality traits have been established.
Soft Serve has no established close relationships. She briefly interacts with another Krakoan mutant by offering them ice cream, while Forge later praises the quality of the ice cream produced through her mutation. Beyond these encounters, she has not received enough story focus to establish friends, rivals, family ties, or team affiliations beyond living among Krakoa’s mutant population.
